VCL South

Another division with a logjam of the middle seeds so far. 4 points split seeds 4 through 9. Plenty of good attacks and defenses in this division with plenty of teams who have a real shot of winning this division.

1.LA United

Joint top of the table with Holicz, LA United have scored a ridiculous 19 goals in 6 games and haven’t lost a single game. While 7 goals conceded isn’t the best, it doesn’t really matter with an attack like this. How far can they go?

2.Holicz

The exact opposite of LA United. Only 7 goals scored is concerning, but they have only allowed a single goal in 6 games with 5 shutouts. This team could realistically concede 10 or less goals this season.

3.Envious 

Another strong attacking team, Envious have scored 16 goals and conceded 5. 13 points across 6 games is a great start and this team could make a serious run in the playoffs.

4.Mythic XI

A hard team to rank. 5 goals scored is bad output but only 3 conceded is exceptional. Every game is a grind against Mythic.

5.Plebes

3 draws is a tough way to start the season. Obviously they’re good enough to compete and keep games close but possibly not good enough to close games out. Can they find that decisive edge to start turning draws into wins?

6.Santa Muerte

The final team with a positive goal difference, Santa Muerte are .500 with a +1 goal differential. They are poor defensively and need to improve quickly.

7.Dy & Friends

The best of the teams with negative goal differential, Dy & Friends are only 2 points out of the top 6 but have conceded 11 goals so far. One of many teams that need improvement on that side of the pitch.

8.Viltrume

Same as above, but with one less goal conceded and one fewer goal scored.

9.Silenzio

A weaker offensive team with only 6 goals scored, Silenzio need to improve on both sides of the ball to make up ground in the playoff race.

10.Impact FC

A -4 goal differential and only on 4 points, Impact are better than their place on the table and need to improve quickly to keep pace with the top teams in this division.

11.Hated 11

Only 4 goals scored with 13 conceded after 6 games. While they may have 5 points, when they lose, they are losing badly. They need to keep games close and try to get any points they can.

12.Malditos Genios

Last place in the table with the most goals conceded and some of the fewest scored. A bad start for Malditos Genios. Hopefully it can only go up from here.
