D3 Playoff Predictions
After 22 games, the Division 3 playoff table is finally set. No real drama on the last day as most playoff spots were clinched before the final matchday in addition to almost all playoff seeding being finalized. This has been one of the more top-heavy seasons we have seen, but that all can go out the window during the playoffs. A quick review of the playoff seeds before predictions:

La Mastilla (1) vs. Section 80 (8)
La Mastilla have been dominant all season, cruising to the one seed 11 points clear of second place. With a great offense and defense, this team is extremely well-rounded and figure to be one of the favorites. Section 80 on the other hand have had one of the weaker defenses and a sub .500 record. This series could get ugly, and quickly.
Prediction: La Mastilla wins 5-1
America Titans (2) vs. Tecolote fc (7)
America Titans had a great start to the season and at one point had a chance to take the number 1 seed before falling off, while Tecolote have consistently been in a playoff spot all season. Both teams bring potent attacks into this game and this could turn into a high scoring affair.
Prediction: America Titans wins 4-3
United Kings (3) vs. Rojiblancos FC (6)
United Kings got hot in the middle of the seasons and consistently remained in third place after the fact while Rojiblancos have been in the bottom tier of playoff teams almost all season. Both teams do bring quality attacks into this matchup, with Rojiblancos’ defense being a potential source of worry, conceding a total of 42 goals along the way.
Prediction: United Kings wins 3-2 in 3 games
Inazuma Eagles (4) vs. La salsa fc (5)
Two of the three best defenses square off in this 4 v 5 matchup. Inazuma Eagles had a nice close to the season and have allowed only 18 goals, while La salsa have been extremely consistent all season. They say defense wins championships, and Inazuma Eagles will be heavily reliant on that saying if they want to make a run in these D3 playoffs.
Prediction: Inazuma Eagles wins 1-0 in 3 games
