D2B East Power Rankings – V2

D2B East

Some serious changes at the top of the table for D2B with more of a clean division between playoff and non-playoff level teams. Will it stay that way this week?

1.Cooked

A new team at the top of the table. Cooked’s attack has gone wild, scoring a ridiculous 24 goals to start the season and remain the only team without a loss. They found a new level last week and it will be interesting to see how long it’ll last.

2.Renegade FC

Still giving Renegade the nod as a top two team. While they are no longer top of the table, they still only have one loss and have conceded 3 times. If they can figure out their attacking situation, they still will be one of the favorites come playoff time.

3.ColdGame FC

A really nice week from ColdGame finds them in 2nd on goal differential. Their attack and defense have been just good enough and have only lost once so far.

4.Los Del Sol

A great week from Los Del Sol also. Their attack is on fire and for at least a week they have figured out their defensive inconsistencies. Their defense is the deciding factor here on how far they’ll be able to go this season.

5.No Skills Needed

Another team that made a jump into the upper echelon of the table, No Skills Needed are a bit like ColdGame. A good attack and a good enough defense is allowing them to hold onto results.

6.New Era FC

3 draws are killing their placement in the table. If even one of those draws are a win, they could go from 7th to as high as 4th. This is still a playoff level team and I fully expect them to be competing in the top 4 seeds come playoff time.

7.Fearless XI

A +2 goal differential is second worst among the top 4. Similar to Los Del Sol, this team will only be as good as their defense will allow them to be.

8.Notorious XI

One of the biggest beneficiaries of the power rankings, Notorious have a chance to crack the top 8 based on their game in hand. They have the largest goal difference of any team remaining and have been playing well as of late.

9.Viltrume

Another team that is near the playoffs, Viltrume have been balanced in the sense that they score plenty of goals while conceding plenty. Every game is a toss-up on which version will show up.

10.Lashups XI

Probably the biggest loser of the power rankings. While they may be in 8th, their goal difference and .500 record likely won’t be good enough to hold on to a playoff spot for much longer.

11.Lacritas

You never know which version of Lacritas you will get. While they may have handed Renegade their only loss, they have lost plenty of games against teams they would expect to win against. There is still hope but they will need a series of big weeks to push themselves back into the top 8.

12.Calle Futbol

It’s impressive that a team all the way in 12th has a positive goal differential even with 4 losses. They need to find better consistency in order to have a realistic chance of making the playoffs.

13.Jailers

A -10 goal difference this early in the season is not a recipe for success, and neither is 20 goals conceded. This is worrying from the Jailers.

14.Valsenal

Valsenal had a nice chance to move up the table last week but failed to do so. Coming in for a folded team is never easy and Valsenal are learning the hard way.

15.Pro Union

An incredible fall from grace for Pro Union. A playoff team last year that led all teams in scoring finds themselves only on 6 points with the 3rd fewest goals scored. I don’t understand how this happened.

16.Club Hondumex

Remaining in last place, Club Hondumex are having a brutal go of it in D2. 4 goals scored to 28 conceded is a recipe for disaster.
