D2B East
1. Malditos Genios
Malditos Genios have stayed at the top of the table and are now 6 points clear of second place. While they have conceded 35 goals, most in the Top 8, their 60 goals scored are easily best in the Division. It remains to be seen how far this team can go once they hit playoffs.
2. Trojan XIX
Trojan XI have the best Goal Differential in D2B by a huge margin (13 more than anyone else) and see themselves in 3rd place. If this team is at their best, they might be impossible to stop.
3. Pro Union
Pro Union has the second fewest goals scored in the Top 8, but the fewest conceded. In addition, they have a game in hand that could push them as high as Second place. They keep games close, but have a proven track record of getting points out of those games. Will their attack be strong enough down the line to make a deep playoff run?
4. New Era FC
While currently 2nd in the table, New Era sit in fourth on the power rankings, on the basis of conceding more than Pro Union, and scoring less than Trojan XIX. This is a solid team and any of the teams between spots 2 and 4 could interchange with one another at any point.
5. Composed XI
Composed XI have had a really nice rebound from a slow start to this season, finding themselves in 5th place and 5 points ahead of 9th. This team picked up momentum at the tail end of last season in D3 and rode it all the way to the title. Could this be the first ever team to promote to D1 all the way from D3 without spending more than a season in each division?
6. Dochas FC
One of the other D3 teams, Dochas find themselves in a playoff spot, with a good run of games. They are about on par with Composed, and could just as easily find themselves making a deep playoff run also.
7. San Sharti CF
While in 8th on goal difference, this team is better than what their record shows. A +15 goal difference is usually a good indication of a team’s strengths. If this team puts it all together, they could very easily make playoffs and be a higher seed in the table.
8. Cougars SC
Cougars are hanging on to a playoff spot, 1 point clear of 9th place and with a +4 goal differential. Their defense has been solid, but the team needs more out of their attack to climb the table. A surprising recession from last season as a former top 3 seed.
9. Sips FC
Sips FC have quietly been moving up the table and find themselves just outside the playoff seeds on goal differential. It’ll be very interesting to see if this team can make that final push and steal a playoff spot in the final 10 games.
10. S.I.N (East)
S.I.N have also had a nice rebound this season and have come closer to fix their defensive struggles in the past couple of weeks. They are only 2 points out of a playoff spot, and can easily be a top 8 team on their day.
11. Lacritas
This far of a fall off from Lacritas is beyond surprising. After multiple seasons in the Top 4, Lacritas now find themselves in 12th place of the table. While they have time to make a comeback, this is a confusing and concerning run of form for this well-established team.
12. Cholos United
Cholos have been perfectly balanced, Scoring and Conceding 27 goals while Winning and Losing 11 games each. While they have been consistently average, they are a step away from taking that next stop to being a playoff-level team.
13. Insanity X
Truly one of the most confusing and inconsistent teams in ACL. Insanity sit in 13th place, 9 points off playoffs even with a +8 goal differential and the 3rd best goalscoring record in D2B. Nothing about this team makes remotely any sense.
14. Samba VZ
Samba VZ have had a slight rebound in terms of table placement over the past two seasons, and find themselves with 26 points. While they have improved, they need a miracle to make the playoffs from this point.
15. Inferno XI
Inferno have conceded a division-worst 58 goals and hold a -33 Goal Differential. While not eliminated from playoff contention, it would be highly unlikely for them to hit that mark.
16. Dont Mata FC
Dont Mata have had a tough time in ACL this season, but do have an impressive defensive record relative to their position on the table. This would be a team that I would expect to get much better season over season.
17. Northmen United
This team has struggled heavily since taking over from a folded team. 71 goals conceded to only 9 scored is poor, and that will keep them squarely at the bottom of D2.
