D1 West Pre-Season Power Rankings

1. Famous XI

Last season’s West champion, Famous has strengthened their roster even more by adding players Game7Bron, Skill Cancel and I JE7 I, who should take this team to an entirely different level. On top of this, returning players like HaroldChampion12 and Omarzito make this one of the best rosters in all of ACL. It’s ACL title or bust for Famous this season.

2. Royal X

With an incredibly strong returning roster, Royal X should also have championship aspirations this season. After getting bumped by Royalty in a shock loss last season, Royal X will be out for revenge and to win the west. With players like Pnky, MagicLeo and Zvenn and goal, this team should near the top of west like usual.

3. Ackerman FC

Rebranding from Royalty, a D1 West finalist, this team brings back countless players from last season. Even if their regular season performances falter, this team knows how to turn it up in the playoffs. With new additions to this roster, expect a better regular season performance from Ackerman followed by another deep run into the playoffs this season.

4. Cracks Nation

West champions a few seasons ago, Cracks Nation is a consistently good team that defends incredibly well and is hard to beat, especially over a two-leg playoff. Led by manager PrO_Fifty, this team will be competing for a top spot in the playoffs, and will have significant offensive contribution from iNalaz.

5. Vicious XI

Vicious has consistently been a playoff team over the past few titles and score countless goals. If their defense holds up, this team could be a shock pick to make the west finals. Expect Playxcarlos10 to be near the top of the leaderboards for goals.

6. Magic X

Rebranding from Los Goonies, this is a playoff level team that added additional talent to better compete in west. The addition of JessKings and XOREO10- should add firepower to a team that is primed to compete and succeed. Look out for this team to not only make playoffs, but possibly cause an upset scenario in the playoffs.

7. Ignite XI

A new team to west with a lot of experience, managers xFersz and Maxi will have this team ready to compete and should comfortably make playoffs. Players like xOsnaya-10, iBobell and rickyJC07 should strengthen this lineup and could steal a few results during the regular season.

8. 06 Society FC

Formerly SD Loyal, this team contains a significant amount of experience from before the Console merger. Led by manager JoeSD, 06 Society should have no issue in succeeding in west and making a playoff push. The addition of IAlexis10I brings a proven attacking pedigree, and a lot of the responsibility to win matches will fall squarely on his shoulders.

9. Exile XI

Could this season be the first time Kash makes the playoffs in West? Exile closed out last season in good form and is bringing over a handful of players from last season and bringing back former Team of the Season player TJ_Shayk. TJ and tgi_lalo should form a solid attack, and as long as Kash doesn’t play like total garbage, this could be the first season we see Exile XI in the playoffs.

10. Aztec Esport

Wet_OG1 brings back his usual crew of players, but has been working hard this off-season to get better as a unit. The backline should be solid all season, and if they score enough goals this team could sneak into the playoffs as a low seed.

11. Remywise

New to ACL Last season, Remywise battled and finished around mid table. More of the same can be expected this season, with very little roster turnover with the managers electing to favor chemistry and talent development over new faces in the team. The bottom of West is wide open this season, and teams like this can surprise everyone and claim a playoff spot on the last day.

12. Talacheros FC

Formerly Regen XI, Talacheros has had a couple of seasons to get up to speed with the level of competition in West. The club brings back manager FBJELI and contains attacking options like SaucyItachi and LouieLou16.

Player to watch: SaucyItachi

13. Real 1s FC

A completely new team to ACL, Real 1’s are an unknown quantity in this league. Maybe they will surprise everyone and dominate, all the way to the D1 overall final.

14. Classic XI

A rebrand of Gorilla Warfare, ATL Punchless and a few other teams, this team is all over the place in terms of team composition. There is not a way to justify or figure out how this team will click and mesh together.
