D1 West Power Rankings – Week 3
1. Famous XI
Famous now sits 4 points clear of second, with the most goals scored and tied for the fewest conceded. If that stays the same way, Famous won’t move from this spot all season.
2. Cracks Nation
Sitting in 2nd place with the 4th most goals and the fewest conceded, Cracks is humming right along. A nice rebound from the poor week they had a week ago.
3. Vicious XI
Vicious has figured out their defensive woes and put together a great week, beating Royal while only conceding twice. This lands them in a 3 way tie for 3rd and should allow them to make a run.
4. Ignite XI
The second team to be on 24 points, Ignite XI got 12/12 points last week, including a 4-2 win vs Royal X. Another team who rebounded nicely after a poor week the week prior.
5. Magic X
The final team to be on 24 points, Magic X sits 2nd in West in goals scored and played Famous XI to a 2-1 Loss. A great first half of the season so far.
6. Daily Bread
Daily Bread is finally getting the attacking help they need while continuing to be stout defensively. They will need a huge week to separate themselves from the 3 points difference between 6th and 9th.
7. Royal X
Not a great week for Royal X with only 4 points, but did manage to draw Cracks Nation. Will Temi and MagicLeo be able to sort out the team’s defensive issues?
8. 06 Society
A draw vs Famous was only the second time Famous XI dropped points all season. While not in the playoffs yet, 06 Society is knocking on the door and closed the playoff gap to 1 point.
9. Ackerman FC
Only 4/12 points last week caused Ackerman to slide down the table and is now clinging to a playoff spot against an ascendant 06 Society. Expect this team to turn it around and make a run post-window.
10. Remywise
Remywise has battled all season, but lost momentum after only getting 3/12 last week. 9 goals in 12 games shows this team’s need for attacking help.
11. Aztec Esport
Aztec Esport has regressed and has allowed 26 goals so far this season. Their attacking output is one of the better ones for a team not in the playoffs, but conceding that many goals usually is not a good indicator for success.
12. Exile
Not sure whether to be impressed or confused on how Exile does not sit in last place with 40 goals conceded after 12 goals with the 2nd worst attacking output. I was definitely wrong about this team making a playoff push this season. This all falls on their manager, Kash.
13. Real 1’s FC
Real 1’s finally got their first win in ACL over Classic XI. As this team continues to get more experience, expect them to get a few more results going forward.
14. Classic XI
A loss to the last place team will land you in last place on the ranking. The fewest amount of goals scored is bad, and this team did not gel as expected.
