D1 West Power Rankings – V2
D1 West
After 2 weeks, there are some big movers and this division is absolutely wide open with only 2 points separating spots 6 through 9. I imagine this table will look completely different come next week.
1.Cracks Nation
The easy and undisputed number 1. Cracks is the only undefeated team left and have the best goal differential. As it stands, they are the heavy favorite to win the West.
2.Magic X
Moving all the way up to second on the table puts them second in the power rankings. Magic X is back to playing like a playoff-level team, scoring plenty of goals. Their defense could use a little work but overall a great rebound after a disappointing first week.
3.Warriors FC
A strong week for Warriors sees them go all the way to third in the table with plenty of goals scored. Their defense strengthened up and they have definitely turned a corner.
4.Bazukazos
Not the strongest week of Bazukazos but still plenty good enough for 4th in the table. I’m surprised this team doesn’t score goals given their attacking talent.
5.Uncs FC
Another team that should absolutely score more goals. They somehow have a negative goal differential in the top 8, but they have been finding ways to grind goals out.
6.Untouchables XI
3 draws are the difference between them being in 7th instead of a top 2 or 3 team. Their attack is strong, and their defense has been performing well. Consistency is the key that they need to find going forward.
7.Sons of God
10 goals scored is the worst in the top 9 but have only conceded 7 goals. Every game is close and it may not be sustainable going forward. Credit to them for also getting teams on the rules, using the rulebook as an extra player to get results.
8.Impact X
Hard to rank Impact X. They forfeited multiple games last week due to the time change and scheduling conflict, but still remain around a playoff spot. After the first week, they were top two so we’ll split the difference and put them 8th.
9.Famous XI
Things have gone from bad to worse for Famous. They have continuously shot themselves in the foot, from dumb defensive mistakes to not following the rules. Despite all of this, they do find themselves only a point out of the top 8 with potential to charge up the table.
10.Eternal Legion e-Sports
A -4 goal differential isn’t terrible, but they need more from their attack to keep pace with the top teams in the division.
11.Los Boyz
Moving up a couple spots, Los Boyz find themselves on 5 points and improving every week. Could this team turn the corner and make a playoff push?
12.Los Cherrys
Not the week Los Cherrys wanted, moving from 9th to 11th and conceding plenty of goals in the process. A serious regression of their ability week over week.
13.Cero Tecnica
Cero Tecnica got a point last week, but still have plenty of work to do to improve over the course of the season. Neither side of the pitch is good enough at this point.
14.Mercenarios XI
Folded.
