D1 West
1. 06 Society (clinched)
1 point behind first with 2 games in hand, 06 Society are firing on all cylinders and are white hot nearing the playoffs. 15 goals scored in the last week shows their offense is starting to heat up. This team might be the favorite to win the West.
2. Tiburoneta (clinched)
While currently in first, Tiburoneta are squarely in a top 4 seed and will have a home playoff round at minimum. The most goals scored in the division and one of the better defenses should bode well for them come playoff time.
3. Famous XI (clinched)
A very nice rebound week for Famous XI, getting three wins out of three against quality opposition such as Lucky Tekkz and scoring an 8-0 win over Magic X. Their attack is dangerous, but their defense will be the key in how far Famous goes in a bid to 3-peat the West.
4. Magisco (clinched)
A solid 10/12 week for Magisco including a solid 2-2 draw against Tiburoneta. This team could be dangerous with a home seed with a strong attack and defense.
5. RoyalxAckerman (clinched)
A great climb up the table for RoyalXAckerman, going from just outside the playoffs to a top 5 seed in short order. There was no way this team was going to miss the playoffs. Their talented defense has done an exceptional job of keeping this team afloat this season, conceding less than a goal per game.
6. Magic X
Magic X suffered a brutal loss at the hands of Famous XI but are still in a good position to make playoffs, needing 5 points in 3 games to mathematically clinch. Their defense needs to fix up quickly or else their playoff run may be short.
7. Sharti CF (West)
Sharti have consistently stayed in the 6-8 seed all season and look primed to make a playoff spot from that position. While only 3 points clear of Cracks, they have dealt just fine with the pressure and haven’t faltered yet.
8. Lucky Tekkz
Lucky Tekkz have slipped a bit due to inconsistent play and find themselves only 2 points clear of 9th place, albeit with a game in hand. A couple results will find them in the playoffs with the chance of making some huge upsets.
9. Cracks Nation (West)
The most likely team to sneak in and steal a playoff spot, Cracks sit just outside of a playoff spot. A huge matchup to close the season against Lucky Tekkz could be the decider in who makes the playoffs.
10. Fireclan
While not eliminated yet, Fireclan have a huge mountain to climb and need a lot of fortunate results for them to make the playoffs. This has been an up and down season for them, and hopefully they can find a way in to the playoffs.
11. S.I.N. (Eliminated)
Unfortunately not good enough from S.I.N this season. Their defense didn’t hold up to some of the high powered attacking teams in West and their offense didn’t score enough to offset it. They still have the chance to impact the playoff seedings in their remaining matches.
12. Atomic Eleven (Eliminated)
Similar to S.I.N, Atomic Eleven weren’t good enough on either side of the ball to get results. Huge credit to this team for surviving their first season in West and playing almost all of the way through.
13. Sad Boyz FC (Eliminated)
Forfeited a few games this week due to their elimination from playoffs. I expect more from this team next season.
14. Exile XI (Eliminated)
84 goals conceded. Better luck next season, Kash.
15. Aucusticoss (Eliminated)
Folded.
16. Goldinos (Eliminated)
Folded.
