With playoffs coming up soon for all divisions, every game could be make or break for any team out there. From top of the table clashes to mid table games with playoff implications, let’s look at the best upcoming games this week:

D1 East:

Tuesday, July 8 – Virtual Talent vs Galacticos

Galacticos will be desperate to win this game to build a gap on 9th placed Prolific, while Virtual Talent will look to move up the table and get a better playoff seed. Moving up to 3rd would look much better for a potential playoff matchup than facing someone like Fatal Xi in the 4 vs 5 game.

Prediction: 3-1 Virtual Talent wins

Thursday, July 10 – Impact X vs Prolific

5 points separate these two teams heading into this week. Prolific needs to get every result they can, while Impact cannot afford to drop points the rest of the way. 

Prediction: 1-0 Prolific wins

D2A East:

Tuesday, July 8 – Punisherz vs NB Rovers

Looking forward to a potential playoff matchup, Punisherz is home against NB Rovers and could have a host advantage. While Punisherz may be 10 points clear of 9th, they will want the most favorable playoff matchup possible.

Prediction: 1-1 Draw

Thursday, July 10 – Tiburoneta vs DANZ FC

1st vs 3rd in a huge matchup in D2A. If Tiburoneta wins, they could be within striking distance of first. If DANZ FC wins, they will have a chokehold on a top 2 seed.

Prediction: Tiburoneta wins 2-1

D2B East:

Tuesday, July 8 – Dochas vs San Sharti

Both of these teams will have so much to play for given they are 2 and 0 points ahead of 9th, respectively. Sips FC will be chomping at the bit to make up ground in the playoff race, and both teams desperately need this result. A true 6-pointer.

Prediction: Dochas FC wins 3-2

Thursday, July 10 – Composed XI vs Trojan XIX

A battle between 4 and 5 in the table. This is a great litmus test for Composed XI to show how good they truly are and what kind of momentum they are building. Trojan XIX is no slouch though, and would love to grab the second seed.

Prediction: 3-3 draw

 

D1 West:

Tuesday, July 8 – RoyalxAckerman vs Sharti CF (West)

A battle between 7 and 8. Win and move up in the table, lose and you risk falling out of the top 8 altogether. RoyalxAckerman have everything to play for in this game, while Sharti FC need to continue to build momentum before the playoffs.

Prediction: 2-1 RoyalxAckerman wins

Thursday, July 10 – 06 Society FC vs Lucky Tekkz

Top Seed 06 Society takes on 6th place Lucky Tekkz for table implications. If Lucky Tekkz shows up and plays their best, this very well could be a future West finals matchup.
