D1 East Power Rankings – V2
D1 East
1. Holicz
In first place by 6 points, with the most goals scored, and fewest conceded. Things are looking good for Holicz.
2. NoHardFeelings
NoHardFeelings have slipped ever so slightly, but are still sitting in second with only 18 goals conceded. The past two seasons have proven they can compete at the highest level, now it’s time for them to take the next step in the playoffs.
3. LA United
A much better regular season for LA United this season, largely in part to their attack scoring 58 goals. Their defense hasn’t been as strong, but when you can simply outscore the opposition at the rate LA United has, it won’t matter too much.
4. Fatal XI
Fatal will continue to live in the 3-6 seed range for as long as they play ACL, and this season is no different. Comfortably in 4th on 49 points, with a better attacking output than last season, Fatal will be a team to watch out for in playoffs.
5. Virtual Talent
Virtual Talent are certainly better than their seed shows, but are hindered by 7 draws this season. Based on stats, their offense and defense are plenty good, but need to be good at the same time to turn those results into wins.
6. Impact X
Similar to Virtual Talent, 7 draws is killing their position in the table. However, unlike Virtual Talent, they have conceded a Top 8-worst 31 goals. Their attack is clearly keeping them in games, and it’s time for the Defense to sort things out.
7. Galacticos
Galacticos have remained strong after a successful prior season, finding themselves in the playoff seeds again. A +17 Goal Differential is solid, but they will need to find consistency the rest of this season to secure a playoff spot.
8. Santa Muerte
While a higher seed than Galacticos, Santa Muerte have scored slightly less, putting them below in this power ranking. They are 3 points clear of 9th currently, and face a huge match with Prolific to hopefully distance themselves in the table. Overall, this is still a very nice rebound season from this team.
9. Prolific
Prolific finds themselves on the outside looking in in the playoff race. In their defense, they do have two games in hand against most of the top 8 and will hope to turn those games into Wins, pushing them into the top 8. Their defense has been astute so far, and once their attack hits that level, they shouldn’t have an issue making the playoffs.
10. Mythic XI
Mythic find themselves in 10th, with a 0 Goal Differential. Their defense has been good, but their attack is mustering a goal per game. Can they make a move at the end of the Transfer period to get themselves into the playoffs?
11. Beangers
A nice rebound to a really poor start from Beangers this season. They are only 7 points out of a playoff spot currently, and could carry this momentum to sneak into the playoffs.
12. Most Hated
This has been a season to forget for Most Hated. The former champs got off to a slow start, and haven’t been able to pick it up since. They would need a miracle to get into the playoffs from here.
13. Vamos Futbol
Vamos’ first season in D1 has proven to be a challenge, sitting well behind the playoff race and have conceded 45 goals, third worst in D1 East. If this team can avoid the relegation battle, I am sure they will have a better go of it next season.
14. No Name XI
No Name’s current objective should be to survive. Only 2 points clear of that promotion/relegation game spot, they need desperate help on the attacking front. It’s hard to promote from D2 and succeed in D1, and it’s even harder to avoid the yo-yoing between divisions.
15. Cracks Nation (East)
A complete free fall from Cracks this season. This looked to be a playoff caliber team to start the season and have fallen out of the playoffs in both divisions. 55 Goals Conceded is the worst in D1 East, and they will need to fix up before being caught in the promotion/relegation game.
16. Vikings
Last season’s biggest surprise has turned into a disappointment this season. While they have a chance of getting out of the promotion/relegation game, their attack needs to massively improve. 12 Goals Scored in 24 games is the worst in the division.
17. NY Bulls
Currently in 17th on Goal Difference, NY Bulls have had a rough welcome back to D1 in ACL. They will need a miracle to avoid relegation.
18. Collective FC
The basement dwellers of D1 East. Collective, similar to No Name, are stuck in the vicious cycle of D1 and D2 promotion and relegation.
