ACL Season 2 Update!

ACL Starting Oct, 17

The moment we’ve all been waiting for is here! The new ACL season officially kicks off on October 17th, and we couldn’t be more excited to see the action unfold on the pitch! After the thrill and excitement of Season 1, we’re back stronger, bigger, and more prepared for an intense competition. Our website has been polished, and the structure of the league is now better than ever, offering a smoother experience for both managers and players alike. We’re thrilled to announce that Season 2 is finally here!

Rosters are due by October 11th, 7 PM Eastern Time — this is a strict deadline. Any roster that isn’t submitted by then will result in automatic forfeits for the first match, and we don’t want to see that happen. Managers with premium memberships have until October 14th, 7 PM Eastern Time to finalize any last-minute changes. So, if you’re a premium manager, take advantage of this opportunity to fine-tune your squad and ensure you’re fielding your best players.

Let’s not forget to highlight just how far we’ve come since the start of the ACL. The league has grown, and we’re seeing more engagement and participation than ever. After the exhilarating Season 1, it’s clear why ACL is number 1 and the one of the most competitive leagues in the FC25 Pro Clubs community in the US. And now.

Manager Reminders

As managers, you play a critical role in the success and smooth running of the league. Rosters must be submitted by the set deadlines, and there will be no exceptions. Managers without premium will have no opportunity to change rosters past the October 11th cutoff, so make sure all your player selections are finalized on time.

Another important reminder: match stats must be submitted within 12 hours after each game. This isn’t just a formality—it’s essential to keep the league data accurate and up-to-date. We understand everyone has busy schedules, and real life comes first, but a quick submission only takes a few minutes. A simple text, an update, or delegating the task to a co-manager can make all the difference.

We know you’ve been managing teams for several seasons now, whether it was on other platforms or during our inaugural season here at Virtualeagues.com. This familiarity means there’s no excuse for delayed submissions or miscommunication. Remember, multiple managers are allowed for each team, so use that to your advantage. Have someone cover if you’re unavailable, and keep the flow of information moving smoothly. Everyone needs to be on the same page to keep the league functioning at its best.

No roster changes will be allowed unless you have a premium membership, so ensure your squads are set and registered before the deadline. And as always, if a player needs to be replaced due to unexpected circumstances, communicate with the league admins immediately, and we’ll guide you on the next steps.

What to Expect This Season & New Updates

We’re excited to introduce a few new changes for Season 2! One of the biggest updates is the ban of PC players from the ACL. After extensive review, the decision was made due to multiple complaints and confirmed instances of cheating and unfair play. We want to maintain the integrity of the league and ensure every match is decided by skill, strategy, and teamwork—not by exploitative tools. This change is effective immediately for Season 2, and we’ll be enforcing strict rules to keep the competition fair.

Beyond this, we’ve added some minor tweaks and improvements to enhance the overall experience for everyone involved. Our website has been optimized, and new features are in place to help teams navigate more easily. We’ve also restructured the rules to ensure clarity and fairness for all, including stricter enforcement on late stat submissions and roster management.

This season, expect to see:

  • Revamped league tables and match schedules to make following your favorite teams even easier.
  • New tools for managers to submit and track player stats, making it more streamlined for managing match information.
  • Improved support for mobile users, ensuring easy access to Virtualeagues.com, whether you’re at home or on the go.
  • The reintroduction of live match updates, where select games will be featured and followed in real-time, complete with match commentary and highlights.

Player Profiles: Players can now change their profile picture by visiting their player page and scrolling down to the bottom to add or update their profile picture. Reminder: Any inappropriate images, such as rude, racist, or pornographic content, will result in an immediate ban.

Managers: As in previous seasons, each team can have multiple managers who can submit stats for their team. This allows for better collaboration and ensures that stats are submitted even if the primary manager is unavailable.

Teams: For those who didn’t notice, team pages now display a detailed team profile, including team logos, managers, and rosters, giving each team a professional presence on the site.

Player Profile Redesign: We have given player profiles a fresh new look, specifically optimized for mobile viewing, making it easier to navigate and interact with the player pages.

Coming Next Season:

  • Position-Based Layout: Managers will soon be able to visually arrange their players’ positions for each game. A small field map will be displayed, allowing you to drag and drop players into the positions they played that game, making it easier to submit match stats accurately.
  • Player Rankings by Position: Expect to see position-specific rankings, allowing players to compete for top spots in their respective roles.
  • Awards & Trophies: We’re introducing new awards, such as the Ballon d’Or, with actual prize winnings up for grabs! Stay tuned for more exciting updates as we roll out these features next season.

Finally, we want to remind everyone of the core rules that will be emphasized this season:

  1. No roster changes allowed unless you have a premium membership.
  2. All managers must submit match stats within 12 hours of the game ending—no exceptions.
  3. Respect for deadlines: Any team that misses a deadline will automatically forfeit their first match.
  4. Fair play: No cheating, glitching, or unsportsmanlike conduct. Any violation will result in immediate expulsion.
  5. Communication is key: Managers are encouraged to stay connected. A simple text or message can prevent major issues.

We’re looking forward to an exciting Season 2, and we can’t wait to see how the competition unfolds. This is your chance to show your true skills, rise through the ranks, and claim the ultimate glory in the ACL! Good luck to everyone, and let’s make Season 2 the best one yet! 🏆
